Students will work from live models and their imaginations. Projects include a life- sized portrait bust, small figure studies, gestures, and body fragments. Special focus will be given to ceramic surfaces. Students will experiment with terra sigillata, slips, oxides, and underglazes, and will participate in raku and saggar firings.
